The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Forca Milano took the lead after a very quick start.

Steel Ship saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Steel Ship was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. The Scots Guard suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Forca Milano looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Forca Milano sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Bengt-Erik Olsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Seulement Curieux started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Winner of todays race was Forca Milano. Ylistää came in second. Steel Ship became third.
