One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Suven Aika tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Monty Burns Lore that came steaming ahead. New Jersey Devil showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Suven Aika was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Criminal Opps, Talk To Me, We Drink Your Blood, Happy Temptress, Suven Aika, Monty Burns Lore, Jongeheer Vleug, Opposing Daffodil. Troubling Biscuit started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Suven Aika galop. Suven Aika lost 30 m.

Jongeheer Vleug made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Opposing Daffodil.
