It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Carlos Bronx tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Skrubbsår that came steaming ahead. Carlos Bronx suddenly started to galop. Stefan Persson had to struggle to get Carlos Bronx to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Speedy Zeus quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Carlos Bronx took the lead after 1000m. Perfect Thunder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Skrubbsår looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Perfect Thunder gallopped for 50 m. Skrubbsår kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. No-one could catch Skrubbsår today who won before Carlos Bronx and Repeat Pete Pete. Results
