It had been raining for several days at Vaasa but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Apart. Bobby Benson ended up behind the leader. Jumping Scope got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Jumping Scope saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. The leader got disturbed by something and Apart took the lead rather easily. Apart was still in the lead after 1500m. Apart sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Apart looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Jumping Scope sprinted over the finishline before Apart and Bobby Benson. Results
