The sun was shining on Gävle today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Toronto Maple Leafe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Lost In Dreams was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Shooting Blast was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Royal Star was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Royal Star was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 50 m.




Royal Star was still in the lead after 2000m.



Electric Night was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Electric Night was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Royal Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Lost In Dreams didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
