The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Lindesberg this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Starshine took the lead after a very quick start. Tempting Starshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and The Proof sprinted to the front. Dead Runner was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




The Sweeper took the lead after 1000m. Giresse didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one The Sweeper followed by Question and Tempting Starshine. Lane two Giresse followed by Modest Sunshine and Tripping Box.



Tempting Starshine galloped way to long and was disqualified. The Sweeper kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Question won the race after a spectacular finish.
