One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Baresi tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ferocious Bullet that came steaming ahead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Calming Muscle took the lead rather easily.

Calming Muscle was still in the lead after 1500m.

Jolly Sunflower suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Calming Muscle made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Jolly Sunflower.
