One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Wimpy Crystal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Rafaela Vidi that came steaming ahead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Blazing Comet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Wimpy Crystal accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Wimpy Crystal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Zumbagirl won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
