One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Manuela was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Mighty Boy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gustave Eiffel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Manuela. Gustave Eiffel galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Manuela was still in the lead after 1500m.



Manuela looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Gustave Eiffel sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
