One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fast Motor tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Beard that came steaming ahead. Holy Grail galloped way to long and was disqualified. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Fighting Beard who started to galop and lost 20 m. Fighting Beard was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Fighting Beard today. It continued in the lead. Fighting Beard sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Fast Motor sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
