One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Anais sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Desiderare Ballerino saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Desiderare Ballerino who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Desiderare Ballerino was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Għant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Għant kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Desiderare Ballerino galop. Desiderare Ballerino lost 40 m.




Madame Anais never caught up with Għant who won. Inkas Dawn came third.
