It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Especially For You could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Le Tigre was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Capricornus, Dirty Mind, Especially For You, Gentleman Bullet, Whitesnake, Spacerunner, Dragon's Den, Le Tigre.




Gentleman Bullet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Whitesnake couldn't come out from behind the leader, Capricornus.



Spacerunner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Capricornus couldn't come out from behind the leader, Whitesnake.






Capricornus sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
