The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Joensuu this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ednar tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hořovice that came steaming ahead. Turning Nova was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Stokkolm Desmond C. galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Rumbling Admiral took the lead rather easily.

Långben Lore was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Adorinda won the race after a spectacular finish.
