Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Riihimäki track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Growing Ship found a gap and took the lead. Full Of Gold followed before Windy Moonlight. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.




Full Of Gold quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Growing Ship who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Windy Moonlight sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Windy Moonlight today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 20 m.



Windy Moonlight was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Windy Moonlight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Veli-Erkki Paavola tried a little too much on the homestretch and Confident Sniper started to galopp and lost 40 m. Confident Sniper was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Full Of Gold won. Windy Moonlight came in second. Growing Ship caught third place.
