One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thouvenel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Skimmia Japonica sprinted to the front.




Skimmia Japonica clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Skimmia Japonica followed by Calming Tank and Just Admiral. Lane two Funkmaster Flex followed by Thouvenel and Sneaky Striker. Sneaky Striker galloped for 30 m.



Skimmia Japonica kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Skimmia Japonica kept the speed the whole finish and won before Calming Tank and Thouvenel.
