The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Rättvik today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Passionate Wind tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sunbeam Clover that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Blossoming Sunshine sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blossoming Sunshine followed by Passionate Wind and . Lane two Sunbeam Clover followed by Screaming Box and .




Sunbeam Clover took the lead. Blossoming Sunshine was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Screaming Box galoped for 20 m. Passionate Wind was first on the homestretch followed by Sunbeam Clover and Blossoming Sunshine.






Sunbeam Clover never caught up with Passionate Wind who won. Blossoming Sunshine came third.
