One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Van Der Meijden found a gap and took the lead. General Du Pommeau followed before Criminal Flying Dutchman. driver couldn't keep Volles Risiko C.C. to trotting so they were disqualified.




Criminal Flying Dutchman quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Van Der Meijden took the lead after 1000m. Criminal Flying Dutchman didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Van Der Meijden followed by General Du Pommeau and Criminal Flying Dutchman. Lane two Cherchez La Femme followed by Mønlight and Volles Risiko C.C.. Criminal Flying Dutchman galloped for 30 m.



Cherchez La Femme suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Van Der Meijden made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Cherchez La Femme.
