One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Walking Stereo found a gap and took the lead. Slow Play followed before Sergeant Satellite. When the startcar left the field Slow Play started to galop and lost 40 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Pomme De Terre started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Walking Stereo looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slow Play couldn't come out from behind the leader, Causse De Limogne.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Platinum Bear followed by Slow Play and Walking Stereo. Lane two Pomme De Terre followed by Florida Thunder and Causse De Limogne.

Platinum Bear was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Platinum Bear sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gunnar Melander tried a little too much on the homestretch and Platinum Bear started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Slow Play kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pomme De Terre and Florida Thunder.
