The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Walking Meadow took the lead after a very quick start. Markus Forss wanted a little to much in the start and Criminal Bouquet galoped for 50 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Amunt Valencia sprinted to the front. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Ir-reġina saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Amunt Valencia gallopped for 20 m. Criminal Bouquet took the lead. With only a little left of the race Ir-reġina galoped for 40 m. Criminal Bouquet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Funny won. Criminal Bouquet came in second. Walking Meadow caught third place. Results
