The weather had been good all week and Oviken was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Moment was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sparkling quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




La Luna sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Sparkling galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nolan Lore looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Herrhagens Butcher took the lead. Nolan Lore was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



With only a little left of the race La Luna galoped for 30 m. Sparkling was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Herrhagens Butcher kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Punching Moment won. Heavenly Peach came in second. Herrhagens Butcher caught third place.
