One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Every Year found a gap and took the lead. Royal Baptist followed before Orton.

This is the positions after 500m. Limbourg Lore, Gelehallon Opal, Old Sword, Carlos Colorado, Žvegelj, Second Molecule Man, Orton, Every Year.

Žvegelj sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Old Sword looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Royal Baptist gallopped for 20 m.

Old Sword didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Gelehallon Opal speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Every Year made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Old Sword.
