One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tempting Forest could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Herrhagens Natasha Thomas was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Oranje, Courageous Muscle, Brooklyn Dreamer, Herrhagens Natasha Thomas, Clotilde Larockma, Dead Paladin, Tempting Forest, Orton.

Clotilde Larockma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Herrhagens Natasha Thomas couldn't come out from behind the leader, Oranje.

Orton looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Dead Paladin gallopped for 40 m.

Orton sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Clotilde Larockma litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

David Grundman tried a little too much on the homestretch and Dead Paladin started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Clotilde Larockma didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
