One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Boy took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Vanadis started to galop and lost 10 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Growing Technology looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Beautiful Sunray couldn't come out from behind the leader, Perfect Boy. Vanadis showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Perfect Boy was still in the lead after 1500m.

Growing Technology speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Beautiful Sunray won. Growing Technology came in second. Perfect Boy caught third place.
