It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Question sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.




Archibald Duke was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Playing Moonlight suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Carl-Erik Lindblom tried a little too much on the homestretch and Archibald Duke started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Winner of todays race was Question. Moving Star came in second. Ticking Star became third.
