One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ivory Whirlwind took the lead after a very quick start. Rocking Gladiator was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Ivory Whirlwind who started to galop and lost 10 m. Jean Paul Lore was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Rocking Gladiator sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rocking Gladiator followed by Harpers Magazine Law and Justyne. Lane two Coffee Café followed by Honourable Crusher and Why Not Today. Jolly On Fire galloped for 50 m.

Rocking Gladiator sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Rocking Gladiator kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Harpers Magazine Law galop. Harpers Magazine Law lost 10 m.

Final standings. 1 Ivory Whirlwind, 2 Rocking Gladiator, 3 Honourable Crusher.
