Only a humble breeze blew over Bjerke this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Piece Of Heaven sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field High Excellency started to galop and lost 50 m.




Piece Of Heaven was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Sacre Du Printemps was still in the lead after 1500m.



Sacre Du Printemps looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Piece Of Heaven was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Sacre Du Printemps kept the speed the whole finish and won before Cope's Giant and High Excellency.
