One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Rose could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Summer Rose galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Giant Rose followed by Royal Magesty and Don't Tell Me Why. Lane two Without Your Breath followed by Summer Rose and Fleece Victory. Chip Leader galloped for 50 m.



Giant Rose sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Giant Rose. Without Your Breath came in second. Royal Magesty became third.
