One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Piekfijn could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Victoria Victorias was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Piekfijn was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Big Rocker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Frozen Lion couldn't come out from behind the leader, Piekfijn.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Piekfijn today. It continued in the lead.



Piekfijn sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Frozen Lion won. Piekfijn came in second. Big Rocker caught third place.
