One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nessla Pic Bayle took the lead after a very quick start. Hannu Torvinen wanted a little to much in the start and Lafrenière galoped for 40 m.

Lafrenière quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Clair De Lune took the lead after 1000m. Courtois The Man didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Courtois The Man looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Lafrenière galloped way to long and was disqualified. Fast Thinking suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Delmont won. Nessla Pic Bayle came in second. Courtois The Man caught third place.
