The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quilly Du Marais was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Zardini suddenly started to galop. Frode Hamre had to struggle to get Zardini to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Straight Right saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Quilly Du Marais looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gabetti couldn't come out from behind the leader, Straight Right.




Straight Right was still in the lead after 1500m.



Gabetti litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Muscle Mass to trotting so they were disqualified.




Zardini made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gabetti.
