The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kemijärvi today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Prima Winter took the lead after a very quick start. Ville Pohjola wanted a little to much in the start and Grasping Galaxy galoped for 30 m.




Grasping Galaxy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Lonnell looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Prima Winter couldn't come out from behind the leader, Grasping Galaxy.

Lonnell litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
