One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gonzo Geronimo was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Antero Heinonen wanted a little to much in the start and Dribbling Mustache galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Dribbling Mustache started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Scotland Yard looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dribbling Mustache couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gonzo Geronimo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gonzo Geronimo today. It continued in the lead.



Gonzo Geronimo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Gonzo Geronimo. Scotland Yard came in second. Dribbling Mustache became third.
