The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Black Ship took the lead after a very quick start. Fighting Runner was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Focused Space quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Gustave Eiffel looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Black Ship couldn't come out from behind the leader, Focused Space.




Focused Space was still in the lead after 1500m.



Gustave Eiffel was first on the homestretch followed by Monsoon and Fighting Runner.






Fighting Runner sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
