One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Russo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Under My Umbrella started to galop and lost 10 m.




Blown Away saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Blown Away was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Tutto Il Mondo è Paese accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Travelling News suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
