One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Oogum Boogum found a gap and took the lead. Astronaut Ameste followed before Criminal Ziti. When the startcar left the field Devoti started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Criminal Ziti, Speedy Stereo, Cauberg, Devoti, Astronaut Ameste, Nessla Oogum Boogum, Maeglin, Fighting Sniper.




Criminal Ziti clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nessla Oogum Boogum looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Maeglin seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Maeglin looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Fighting Sniper showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Maeglin won. Astronaut Ameste came in second. Nessla Oogum Boogum caught third place.
