One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Swinging Pie found a gap and took the lead. Screaming Band followed before Screaming Ship.




Swinging Pie was in fine shape and held the lead. Screaming Band started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Lone Lieutenant looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Screaming Band couldn't come out from behind the leader, Swinging Pie.




Screaming Band saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Screaming Band were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Screaming Band today who won before Screaming Ship and Swinging Pie.
