The weather had been good all week and Dannero was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chesnaught found a gap and took the lead. Chantelle followed before Pommard.




Whoop Whoop saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Pommard was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Iva sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Iva followed by Carlos Winnie and Chesnaught. Lane two Whoop Whoop followed by Chantelle and Powerful Dribbler.



Iva kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Iva didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
