One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Alpjäger Larockma tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cesare that came steaming ahead. Antti Tupamäki wanted a little to much in the start and Pérez Muñoz galoped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Pérez Muñoz took the lead rather easily. Alpjäger Larockma galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pérez Muñoz today. It continued in the lead.



Pérez Muñoz kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Alpjäger Larockma won the race after a spectacular finish.
