Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Turn It Over could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Portable Band suddenly started to galop. Hans G Eriksson had to struggle to get Portable Band to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and One Step Further sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Portable Band took the lead rather easily.




Wild Palema saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Famous Fagervik was first on the homestretch followed by Wild Palema and Thunder Victory.






Famous Fagervik kept the speed the whole finish and won before Thunder Victory and Wild Palema.
