One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dead Tank found a gap and took the lead. Anonymous followed before Blanc De Blanc. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Di Maggio sprinted to the front. Anonymous galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Di Maggio clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Di Maggio today. It continued in the lead. Di Maggio kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Ninni made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Di Maggio. Results
