The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Avec Désir. Diamant Brut ended up behind the leader. Steel Paradigm got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Miami Shooter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Close Behemoth took the lead after 1000m. Diamant Brut didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Teamspirit galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Close Behemoth followed by Miami Shooter and Diamant Brut. Lane two Steel Paradigm followed by Accelerando and Front Tiger. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Diamant Brut gallopped for 10 m.



Close Behemoth sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Miami Shooter won the race after a spectacular finish.
