The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Douze was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sharp Goaltender sprinted to the front.




Douze sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Douze today. It continued in the lead.




Douze was still in the lead after 2000m.



Douze kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sharp Goaltender made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Portsmouth Superior.
