One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vouloir took the lead after a very quick start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Huntress started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Vouloir looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blitz Of Lighning couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tro på Skjebnesvanger.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tro på Skjebnesvanger followed by Floating Darkness and Champ Of Joy. Lane two Vouloir followed by Blitz Of Lighning and California Zephyr. Tycoon galloped for 30 m.

Vouloir kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused California Zephyr galop. California Zephyr lost 30 m. Buffalo Bull galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Vouloir didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
