The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Harstad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glorious Rocket found a gap and took the lead. Nessla Ruffstuff followed before Lonnell.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nessla Ruffstuff sprinted to the front.




Competitive Motor looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lonnell couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nessla Ruffstuff.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nessla Ruffstuff followed by Lonnell and Strong General. Lane two Competitive Motor followed by Glorious Rocket and .




Competitive Motor took the lead.



Nessla Ruffstuff suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
