The weather had been good all week and Hagmyren was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Venice Beach Waltz took the lead after a very quick start. Kjell Brandt wanted a little to much in the start and Streiks Mitternachts galoped for 30 m. Hans-Owe Sundberg wanted a little to much in the start and Queens Troy galoped for 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Hiilihanko Ammattilainen looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Queens Troy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Venice Beach Waltz. Big Missile galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Venice Beach Waltz today. It continued in the lead.



Venice Beach Waltz sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
