The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Arvika today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carol tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Bear that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Jalapeño, Blue Blizzard, Punching Runner, Fighting Bear, Doughbeezy, Carol, Gorgeous Cup, Slimy Gladiator.




Fighting Bear took the lead after 1000m. Punching Runner didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fighting Bear followed by Carol and Jalapeño. Lane two Punching Runner followed by Gorgeous Cup and Blue Blizzard.




Punching Runner suddenly took over the lead.




Fighting Bear took the lead after a speedrush.



Fighting Bear looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Fighting Bear kept the speed the whole finish and won before Carol and Punching Runner.
