It had been raining for several days at Loviisa but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Afroman could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Afroman was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Cherub Rock looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Flower Whirlwind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Afroman.




Cherub Rock accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Cherub Rock didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Cherub Rock kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Flower Whirlwind made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Cherub Rock.
