The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shy Platinum took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Experienced Beard sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Gonzo Geronimo who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Carmine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Shy Platinum looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Shy Platinum kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Picot made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Shy Platinum.
