One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Diamond Space took the lead after a very quick start. Compagnon Par Réglement was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Insane Ruby sprinted to the front. Diamonds Are Forever started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Insane Ruby followed by Prince Miracle and Diamonds Are Forever. Lane two Diamond Space followed by Heavy Printer and Arc Perle. Arc Perle started to gallop after 1500m and Per Lennartsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Diamond Space suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Winner of todays race was Diamond Space. Insane Ruby came in second. Heavy Printer became third. Results
