The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Funky Diary tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gonzo Divine that came steaming ahead. Gonzo Divine was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Rugged Star sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Gonzo Divine saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. With only a little left of the race Vincennes Hof galoped for 40 m. Gonzo Divine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Rugged Star sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
